A little story for my mother along with my original watercolor paintings.

My boss was given a little book for his new grandson.
This little books was written by Nancy Tillman for a child.
It was so cute and moving that I wanted to adapt the concept to make something for my mother.
The credit all goes to Nancy for the writing of the original works
For my version,  I did all the watercolor illustration and changed some of the wording for my mother who will be 84 years young and was recently put in Hospice care.
It makes no difference who, what, when or where we go in life, or mother is and always will be the core of our being.
Whether I always get along with her or not, the thought of losing my mother and never being able to talk to her, love her or hug her again is powerful and humbling.

I love you Patricia Ann (Fox) Byrd and know that I am blessed to have you for my mother.

God Bless you always and forever!

Edited 2/14/19- My Mother passed away on November 3, 2017. My heart is still breaking.

Weekend project: Notecard sets.

I made four sets of note cards. One set I just used some Crayola Crayon watercolors to paint over a set of thank you note cards that I purchased at Michael's.
I used some pretty papers to make two more sets. For the fourth set I used copies of some of my paintings!  I love how they came out! Enjoy!!!!
