A little story for my mother along with my original watercolor paintings.

My boss was given a little book for his new grandson.
This little books was written by Nancy Tillman for a child. I did all the watercolor illustration.
It was so cute and moving that I want to adapt it to something for my mother.
The credit all goes to Nancy for the writing of the original works, I just changed it for my mother who will be 84 years young and was recently put in Hospice care.
It makes no difference who, what, when or where we go in life, or mother is and always will be the core of our being.
Weather we get along with them always or not, the thought of losing that piece of your life and never being able to talk to her again is powerful and humbling.
I know I am the only one to go through this part of my life, but not matter how old you get, your mother will always be your mommy, through good times or bad, the older you get, the more you understand that.
I love you Patricia Ann (Fox) Byrd and know that I am blessed to have you for my mother.
God Bless you always and forever!

Weekend project: Notecard sets.

I made four sets of note cards. One set I just used some Crayola Crayon watercolors to paint over a set of thank you note cards that I purchased at Michael's.
I used some pretty papers to make two more sets. For the fourth set I used copies of some of my paintings!  I love how they came out! Enjoy!!!!
